Like the civic landmark fire station they designed for Mt Laurel, the new Hoover Fire Station #2 by Dungan & Nequette Architects of Birmingham has become a gateway feature on the way to The Preserve, a neo-traditional neighborhood in the western part of Hoover.

UA Campus Graphics

Growing out of a new master plan developed by KPS Group for the University of Alabama’s main campus in Tuscaloosa, a campus Wayfinding Graphics Master Plan was designed by Houston-based The Douglas Group. The university has been implementing the plan making it easier for both students and visitors to use the campus.

412 Dauphin St., Mobile

The building at 412 Dauphin St. in the heart of downtown Mobile was built in 1907 and housed a furniture store at street level. On two floors above mattresses were manufactured. Now ‘the mattress factory’, as it was popularly known, has become part of the city’s new living core.
